Have you seen the trailer for The Social Reckoning, the sequel to the Oscar-winning The Social Network? Because I'm officially excited.
This time, Jeremy Strong (Succession) stars as Mark Zuckerberg as he battles seemingly everybody.
Directed by Aaron Sorkin, the film follows a reporter, played by Jeremy Allen White, working with a whistleblower, played by Mikey Madison, who leaks internal documents on Facebook's negative impacts on young people, particularly young girls. That's a loose read of the plot as not much has been released yet.
But if history serves, a cast like this in a Sorkin project is full-on Oscar bait, so expect this to be a major contender come awards season. I also just love a docu-style film, where it feels like you're a fly on the wall to seemingly real events — dramatized, of course, because it's Hollywood, baby. I'm thinking All the President's Men, Network, Spotlight. (All big Oscar winners, naturally.) The Social Reckoning is definitely one to watch.

Taylor Swift Joins Cast at 'Toy Story 5' Premiere
Listen, forgive the millennial in me, but I'm very excited about Toy Story 5, and it turns out, so is Taylor Swift.
Swift was at the premiere because she wrote the film's song, "I Knew It, I Knew You," but she wasn't really talking about that on the red carpet. Instead, she brought her own VHS copy of the original Toy Story for Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Joan Cusack to sign. So basically she was just a fan, exactly like I would be.
(Not for nothing, there's a photo of Joan Cusack looking at Taylor Swift on the red carpet, and that's basically me at most events. Silently observing, perhaps plotting, likely looking for the nearest exit.)
Toy Story 5 opens this weekend and you better believe I will be seeing it. (Perhaps multiple times.)
